BNB Chain Β· Agent-only genesis

Every age had its agents.

One thousand figures who bent the course of the human story, from the philosophers of Athens to the pioneers of the modern age, preserved as an on-chain archive. Only AI agents can bring them back.

The premise

History was never written by bystanders.

β—†

Every civilisation has been moved by a handful of people who acted when others waited: conquerors and healers, poets and inventors, rulers and rebels. They were, in the truest sense, the agents of history.

Today a new kind of agent is arriving. Autonomous AI, holding its own wallet and acting on its owner's behalf, now operates on-chain. Agents of History joins the two: an archive of the past that can only be opened by the agents of the future.

Each of the 1,000 records is a hand-finished archival portrait adapted from public-domain paintings, sculptures and photographs, catalogued by era, field, region and rarity, and assigned at random the moment an agent mints.

Six ages Β· one archive

A timeline of the human story

From the first philosophers to the eve of the modern world, every figure in the archive belongs to one of six ages.

Step-by-step

Mint through Binance Agentic Wallet

Your AI agent does the minting from its own wallet. You set the limits; it signs within them. The whole process takes about five minutes.

Create your Agentic Wallet

Open the Binance app, go to Wallet, choose Agentic Wallet and create it. It sits on top of your existing Binance Wallet with its own separate balance.

Claim your .ai Agent ID

Claim a free .ai name from the banner in the Binance Wallet app. The Agent ID is bound to your Agentic Wallet, cannot be transferred, and is the key that unlocks this mint.

Fund it and enable Developer Mode

Send a little BNB on BNB Chain to the Agentic Wallet for gas (and for the paid tiers). In Agentic Wallet β†’ Settings, turn on Developer Mode and set a spending limit and validity period.

Connect your own AI agent

Choose "Use My Own AI Agent" and connect Claude Code, Codex, Grok or another agent. Install the official skill with npx skills add binance/binance-skills-hub/skills/binance-web3/binance-agentic-wallet, then ask your agent to sign in and approve in the Binance app.

Send the mint prompt

Copy the prompt on the right, set how many figures you want (1 to 3) and send it to your agent. It checks eligibility, reads the live quote, simulates, then mints from its own wallet.

Tip: if you mint from the Binance app's built-in chat, external links may not work. Use your own connected agent with Developer Mode enabled.

How to sell on Element

Agentic Wallets cannot connect to marketplaces, so your agent first moves the figure to a regular wallet you control. From there it trades like any NFT. Only minting needs an Agent ID; anyone can buy and sell.

Pick a destination wallet

Use a wallet that connects to websites, such as Binance Web3 Wallet, MetaMask, Trust or OKX, on BNB Smart Chain.

Send the transfer prompt

Enter the token ID and destination, copy the prompt and send it to your agent. It calls safeTransferFrom on the Agents of History contract. Gas is a fraction of a cent.

List it on Element

Open Element with the destination wallet, find the figure under your profile and choose Sell. A 5% creator royalty applies to resales.

Rarity

Four tiers of renown

Rarity reflects each figure's global footprint, measured by how many of the world's language editions of Wikipedia record their life. Assignment is random, so any mint can reveal a Legend.

50Legendary

Names known in every language: Aristotle, Shakespeare, Napoleon, Newton.

150Epic

Founders of empires and ideas: Cleopatra, Genghis Khan, Avicenna, Joan of Arc.

300Rare

Pioneers and national icons, including Indonesia's own heroes such as Diponegoro and Cut Nyak Dhien.

500Common

The wider pantheon: scholars, artists, rulers and reformers who shaped their age.

Transparency

Built to be verified, not trusted

Everything that matters is enforced by the contract and can be checked on BscScan by anyone.

  • Agent-only, on-chain. mint() reverts unless the caller holds a .ai Agent ID in the official SPACE ID Agent ID registry (0x60B9…022F).
  • No approvals, no proxy. Minting never asks for token approvals and the contract cannot be upgraded.
  • Fair random assignment. Each figure is drawn from those not yet minted. Calls must come directly from the agent wallet, so no contract can retry for a rare draw.
  • No team mint. There is no owner mint function. Every one of the 1,000 figures is minted by an agent.
  • Fixed prices. The first 100 first-mints are free; after that $1.00, then $2.50 and $5.00. All hard-coded and converted with Chainlink's BNB/USD feed. Overpayment is refunded.
  • Open-source portraits. Every portrait is adapted from a public-domain or CC0 work on Wikimedia Commons, with its source credited in the gallery.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Who can mint?

Only wallets that hold a Binance .ai Agent ID, the on-chain identity of Binance Agentic Wallets. Anyone can buy, sell or collect the figures on the secondary market afterwards.

What does it cost?

The first 100 agents mint their first figure free (gas only). After that, a first figure costs US$1.00. The second costs US$2.50 and the third US$5.00, paid in BNB at Chainlink's live BNB/USD price. The maximum is three figures per agent.

Which figure will I receive?

Figures are assigned at random from those that have not yet been minted, so every one of the 1,000 is unique and there are no duplicates. Your figure appears the moment your transaction confirms.

Why are some prophets and religious founders not included?

Out of respect for religious traditions in which depicting certain figures is not permitted, prophets and founders of faiths are not part of the archive.

Where do the portraits come from?

Every portrait is adapted from a public-domain or CC0 painting, sculpture or photograph on Wikimedia Commons, then finished in a uniform archival style. Many ancient figures have no known true likeness; their portraits follow historical coins, busts and reliefs.

Where can I trade my figures?

On Element, the leading NFT marketplace on BNB Chain, and on any marketplace that supports BNB Chain ERC-721 tokens.

What happened to the first contract?

Agents of History relaunched on a second contract with the new pricing within an hour of opening. The ten figures minted on the first contract were re-issued to the same holders, with the same figures, when version 2 was deployed. Only version 2 is the official collection.

Is this an official Binance project?

No. Agents of History is an independent collection built on top of Binance's public Agent ID infrastructure. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Binance or SPACE ID.
